Compatibility

4.0(3) through 4.1(1) when installing a new Unity server - however see the note below for more details.

For Unity 4.2(1), use Permissions Wizard 4.2(1)

For Unity 3.1(6), 4.0(1) or 4.0(2) installs you should use Permissions Wizard 4.0(1/2)

For Unity 3.1(1) through 3.1(5) installs you should use Permissions Wizard 3.x

For Unity 5.0(1) and later you should use Permissions Wizard 5.0(1)+

Description

IMPORTANT NOTE: This version of Permissions Wizard ships with 4.0(3) and later.  The current download includes minor changes that were made for 4.0(4) so Unity would function properly with Exchange 2003 Service Pack 1.  However, this version is not dependant on the Unity version.  This version of Permissions Wizard grants far fewer rights to the installation and directory facing accounts and no longer adds the message facing account to the Exchange Server Admins group as previous versions did.  It also includes the ability to pick specific Exchange 2000 mailstores you wish to grant Send As/Receive As rights on for the message facing account using a tree view.

This version of Permissions Wizard CAN be run on any version of Unity 3.1(1) or later if Unity has already been installed.  The Unity setup program for versions 3.1(1) through 4.0(2) will expect more rights to be granted than this version of Permissions Wizard actually sets.  The setup program for these versions will refuse to complete.  The 4.0(3) setup program was modified to not expect those rights.  If Unity versions 3.1(1) through 4.0(2) is already installed, you can use this version of Permissions Wizard to grant the rights on two accounts you choose.  These accounts can then be configured as the logon account for Unity services via the Service Control Manager.
