The Private Distribution List Info Dump (PDLID) tool is designed to allow sites to get a full list of all private distribution list members for some or all subscribers on a local Unity installation. It produces a flat CSV file that includes all the distribution lists and subscribers found in each list for each subscriber selected for output (see Logging section below for details on format).

This version of Private Distribution List Info Dump requires Unity 4.0(3) or later.
Private Distribution List Info Dump must be run on the same server where Unity is installed. It can only process users home on that Unity server – it cannot process users on other Unity servers.
The Private Distribution List Info Dump works with Unity connected to Exchange 5.5, Exchange 2000, Exchange 2003 or Domino.
The Public Distribution List Builder is a very simple 3 page wizard. It allows you to select which subscribers you wish to run the report against and where you wish to export the information to. No other options are provided. The output is listed in the next section.
The Private Distribution List Info Dump tool creates a single CSV file for all output. The top line includes the following 9 columns (in order) which should all be pretty self explanatory. The owner is the subscriber that owns the private list being processed. The MEMBER_TYPE can be either “SUBSCRIBER” or “PUBLIC LIST”.
OWNER_ALIAS,
OWNER_DISPLAY_NAME,
OWNER_EXTENSION,
LIST_NAME,
LIST_ID,
MEMBER_TYPE,
MEMBER_ALIAS,
MEMBER_DISPLAY_NAME,
MEMBER_EXTENSION
Each member of a private list has their own line in the CSV file. If you select to export information about 10 subscribers those subscribers have 10 private lists and each of those lists contains 10 users or public lists in them, there will be 1000 lines in the output.
All private lists for all subscribers selected for processing that have members in them will be processed.
