So, after flying in packed airplanes overnight, and sitting in a blazing hot bus across Acapulco, we arrive at the blazing hot ship terminal and wait in line for 45 more minutes before getting checked in. Then they wanted to take pictures of us as we boarded the ship. HA! We ducked under the rope and beelined for the air conditioning. It got much better then.
This is the main lobby of the ship. 4 stories, with glass elevators (not in photo).
This is the carpet in the Buffet dining room. Very aquatic.
Jeff on the promenade deck.
Me reading (napping) with my cohorts.
Fun with symmetry. Every day we would leave our pillows in three piles of two. And when we came back, they'd be in two piles of three.
This was the view from our balcony the first couple days. That's the Pacific coast of Mexico.
Our dinner table. Neddy, MaryLou, Norv, Jeff and I, Ken, Marci and Carole. Our waiter Candido is behind Neddy on the left.
The evil pillow shifter Rodelio, our cabin steward.
Our breakfast waiter, Desmond Dragon. How cool is that name? He made us smile every day.
Teesh, one of the entertainment team, here demonstrating one of her creations in the Napkin Folding class.
Yes, I said napkin folding class. Apparently it's a cost free way to entertain the passengers.. It was pretty funny.
Here's Jeff with his cocktail napkin fan. Wow.
